The Claro hearing aid is a wonderful example of improving interventions that improve users lives. Bringing additional everyday functionality such as multiple device connectivity, phone calls and music. This helps with the harmony of new medical devices and improving the benefits to users and their daily lives. Having a device that provides standard features of earphones plus providing the core medical function is a must to improve accessibility of med-tech devices.

Industry Insights- Consumers Evaluate Luxury Brands and Ask for More Sustainability

Recent research conducted on the perception of luxury brand consumers and sustainability has revealed some key improvements for Australian industry. Top Reveal: Sustainability commitments have a tremendous impact on brand and brand loyalty with a majority of consumers saying they would stop buying if the brand does not care about their environmental impact. Other key findings include 93% of respondents claiming to be more environmentally conscious than two years ago, lack of transparency and authenticity drives away luxury brand consumers. Lastly the study showed that consumers value a brand's real world impacts (93%) as much as they value the brand. This is a wake up call not just for luxury brands but business in general, the boat is leaving either get on board or be left behind.

I love a bit of consideration for people’s best friend, our dogs. Bring joy to your play time with a thoroughly thought out form utilising a sphericon (solid object characterised by a continuos developed surface) to keep your dog guessing and thinking ‘is this ball alive’ whilst running around the park. I am a sucker for ensuring a furry friend’s happiness so when a design thinks about the dogs happiness and engagement, I’m all for it.

It's good to see an innovation that reduces diesel use in mining hoists. This innovative system uses stored energy generated when lowering the system to help help drive the lifting of the hoist.
