Happy… Tuesday! With the public holiday (Australia) yesterday I hope those that had the time off enjoyed it. For everyone else, well happy start to your week.
Last week saw World Oceans Day (8th June) bring together global communities and people with a focus on sustainable fishing. As an avid diver since I was 10 years old, I have seen the changes our oceans are going through. Unfortunately with degradation, pollution, overfishing and climate change we are hurtling towards an ecosystem collapse of the oceans that cover 70% of the globe and contribute food for 3 billion people. Now in spirit of World Ocean Day here are a number of ways from the Marine Steward Council about how we can give our oceans a hand. Marine Stewardship Council

Xbox Remixing Their Old Controllers Into Eco-Friendly Controller
Product Design
The new Xbox Remix Special Edition controller has been launched with the eco friendly gamer in mind. The controller harks back to the original Xbox design cues but also is now made from one third recycled plastic rather than fully virgin. We’re not short of plastic waste and companies such as Xbox have the resources to incorporate recycled content as core to their product design brand guidelines. But a step in the right direction I guess.
